If you’re NOT a Disney kid, familiar with Nightmare Before Christmas or Tim Burton, I’d love to know what planet you’re from.  This movie was so iconic in my childhood.  I grew up on Tim Burton films.  His dark stories and creative twist to the ‘normal’ draws me in every time.  Nightmare Before Christmas was no exception.  Of course, Burton can create a film that ties Halloween and Christmas together while simultaneously becoming a favorite to be watched all year around.  I’ve captured lyrics and sheet music from the movie as well as my favorite quote placed in the moon.  This piece is definitely one for the fans. I had fun with a paper that I found that reminded me of spider webs without being ‘spider webby’.  I love the colors and the glow of the pumpkins, and I had fun building the gate with it’s puzzle pieced stones and the eerie fog made from tracing paper.  Thank you for stepping back to my childhood with me and enjoying this piece.
