My Hero Academia season 2 episode 23. I found “Come at me with your full power.” My cousin Bernhard is a master of Japanese and translated the quote for me and that is what I cut out and placed on the left-hand side of Izuku Midoriya’s face. The rest of his face is designed with origami paper in his hair and shirt. Ancient maps of Japan to complete the shading in his face. I just love the power and scream of rage that his face evokes.

I designed this piece for a charity auction to buy art supplies for the children in Rancho Cordova schools. After researching quotes from the show, I found and watched My Hero Academia season 2 episode 23. Here is where I found “Come at me with your full power.” My cousin Bernhard is a master of Japanese and translated the quote for me and that is what I cut out and placed on the left-hand side of Izuku Midoriya’s face. The rest of his face is designed with origami paper in his hair and shirt. Ancient maps of Japan to complete the shading in his face. I just love the power and scream of rage that his face evokes.
