I designed this piece tying in my Sacramento beginning with my mountain life now. I placed the city of Sacramento right under the bears feet not only to highlight our capitol, but also to represent my roots.

I designed this piece for a charity auction to buy art supplies for the children in Rancho Cordova schools. I am drawn to all of the symbols of California they mean ‘home’ to me. I love the California bear and our state flag. I am a mountain girl and currently live in El Dorado County where I am so close to our beautiful country every day. I designed this piece with that in mind tying in my Sacramento beginning with my mountain life now. I placed the city of Sacramento right under the bears feet not only to highlight our capitol, but also to represent my roots.
