12 hours of hand cut paper & design
I'd just finished watching 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' while working on my latest piece. What a great muse this movie was. That movie inspired me to create " I made this to give you a giggle. To motivate you, and to help you think. It could be an ode to your amazing year.
It could be for the kids who tried so hard but lost. *The person that felt like they never fit in in a crowd. The one who never won that freaking raffle.
I used raffle tickets because we all try, but don't always win. But please remember you're not a loser, you're a work of art. If you know of someone that might be having a hard time, give them a call, a hug, a smile. Let them know they're important.
During the creation of this piece I decided to donate 💯% of the proceeds of the sale of the original to a suicide prevention group. One of my clients suggested the Trevor project. This foundation helps save the lives of the most at risk community for suicide, teens in the LBGT community.
I was able to make this donation on March 20th, 2021.
Donate your time, your money or reach out if you're in need. You are loved and they're here to help. There are lives to be saved.
